Public Safety

I believe in law and order. My husband is a police officer, and I see the sacrifice he makes to keep our community safe. We need to ensure our first responders have the tools needed to protect us and do their jobs safely. 

I support criminal reform programs; especially, programs like Hope for Prisoners that help those who have paid their debt to society to get jobs and become positive, productive members of our community.

In the legislature, I introduced bills to increase protections for children in our courts and protect the teachers who help educate inmates in our prisons.
